Role: DWDM Nokia Specialist

Location: Chile-Remote work is also fine

Review Nokia Metro/DWDM and OTN solutions to support resilient optical transport, service continuity, capacity, performance, and integration with the existing OT technology platform.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Review technical specifications, conceptual backhaul design, block/connectivity diagrams, data sheets, MTO, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for Nokia Metro/DWDM solutions.

Validate Nokia 1830 PSS/GX nodes, transponders, optical line systems, ROADM functions, wavelength and OTN services, protection schemes, optical budgets, fiber characteristics, and service interfaces.

Review the Network & DWDM OT HLD deliverables and support architecture/TSA panel preparation, technical comments, RFIs, and closure of review findings.

Contribute to migration, implementation, tie-in, interference, maintainability, reliability, commissioning, and operational-readiness reviews,



including

DWDM TECH & EWS and Nokia/Metro/LTE interfaces.

Assess alarms, signal flow, performance, capacity, restoration, lifecycle considerations, test evidence, vendor inputs, and technical documentation using engineering and network-management tools.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

Strong knowledge of DWDM/WDM, OTN, coherent optics, FOADM/ROADM/CDC-F, amplifiers, protection, optical power, dispersion, and fiber-optic fundamentals.

Experience with Nokia 1830 PSS/GX, WaveSuite Planner/NOC or equivalent tools, optical test results, design reviews, migration planning, and technical documentation; relevant telecommunications qualification and Nokia certification are advantageous.

Spanish proficiency preferred, not mandatory.
