Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that develop students' language proficiency, critical thinking, analytical skills, and confidence in written and spoken English.
- Apply effective teaching and assessment practices aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and framework.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and progression across year levels, ensuring high standards and consistency in teaching and learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, develop interdisciplinary initiatives, and support continuous improvement.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and intercultural understanding. Qualifications and Experience
- A recognised teaching qualification in English from a well-regarded university.
- A strong track record of successful teaching,



ideally with at least seven years' experience in leading independent, bilingual, or international schools.
- Excellent command of English, ideally at CEFR C2 level or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Familiarity with the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment for learning, and effective English language teaching practices.
- Experience in curriculum coordination, pedagogical leadership, mentoring colleagues, or leading academic initiatives will be particularly valued.
