NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a dedicated care assistant to join a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will carry out care duties for patients, in support of a registered nurse, and will regularly work unsupervised.
You will assist in admission, transfer and discharge of patients and help with routine urine and blood specimen collection where required.
The role includes maintaining hygiene, order and safety within the ward environment, with duties that may vary by ward and patient dependency.
