Product Promoter / Promotora Job Title: Product Promoter / Promotora Department: Marketing / Sales Reports To: Marketing Manager / Field Sales Supervisor Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / Contract Position Summary The Product Promoter (Promotora) represents the company and its products at retail locations, events, and community venues. This role is responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving product trial, and generating sales by engaging directly with consumers. The adecuado candidate is outgoing, energetic, bilingual (preferred), and comfortable approaching and educating customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Demonstration & Sampling
- Set up and manage product display booths or tables at assigned locations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, samples, and tastings following company guidelines.
- Clearly explain product features, benefits, and usage to consumers.
- Customer Engagement
- Proactively approach shoppers and event attendees to initiate conversations.
- Answer questions and address objections in a friendly, professional manner.
- Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty.
- Sales & Lead Generation
- Drive immediate sales and/or collect leads, sign-ups, or survey responses.
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly promotional and sales targets.
- Distribute coupons, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Brand Representation
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with brand image.
- Wear required uniforms, badges, or branded apparel.
- Positively represent the company at all times.
- Reporting & Administration
- Track and submit daily activity reports (units sold, samples distributed, consumer feedback).
- Report inventory needs, equipment issues,



or location concerns promptly.
- Submit photos and feedback from activations as required.
- Compliance & Safety
- Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and age-verification laws where applicable.
- Adhere to retailer and venue policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized promotional area. Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in promotions, retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality (entry-level candidates may be considered).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4–8 hours).
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21+ for alcohol/tobacco promotions). Preferred:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) — highly desirable for *Promotora
* roles.
- Experience in food sampling, beauty, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Basic smartphone/tablet skills for reporting and time tracking.
- Previous brand ambassador or event marketing experience. Skills & Competencies
