PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Lead and continuously improve regional customs and freight operations across South America, ensuring fast, cost-efficient, high-quality and sustainable transportation solutions.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving freight performance and ensuring compliance with customs requirements, applicable international trade regulations and Trade Compliance standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the regional Freight Operations team.
- Design and implement regional and local freight strategies and transportation solutions.
- Manage inbound and LMD freight operations.
- Ensure the team remains up to date with the latest developments, regulations and best practices in Compliance for domestic and international processes (customs and freight).
- Monitor and improve cost, quality and delivery performance.
- Participate in relevant global Supply Chain and Logistics projects.
- Manage regional relationships with logistics service providers, carriers and customs brokers.
- Manage operational exceptions, deviations and corrective actions.




- Ensure appropriate governance, administration and maintenance of transportation contracts, agreements and related documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

- Graduated in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- Bilingual in English (mandatory) and Spanish/Portuguese (interview to be conducted in English)
- Based in Chile or Brazil.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in freight transportation, logistics operations or a related area.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with diverse and multinational teams.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Flexibility to work across different schedules and time zones when required.
- Valid Class B driver’s license or local equivalent.
