As our new Researcher, Corporate Sustainability, you will contribute to the development of impactful sustainability solutions, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to support our clients in their ESG journey.

About the role

SLR Consulting LATAM is seeking a Researcher to join its Corporate Sustainability team. In this role, you will support the development of sustainability projects through research, data collection, analysis, and preparation of technical content related to environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics.

You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality studies, reports, and client deliverables while building your expertise in corporate sustainability and ESG frameworks.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Collect, organize, and analyze environmental, social, and governance (ESG)



information from diverse sources using established methodologies and technical criteria.
- Support the preparation of sustainability studies, benchmarking analyses, reports, and technical documentation.
- Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to client projects.
- Assist project teams in the development of presentations, reports, and client deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution and contribute to delivering high-quality outcomes within established timelines.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in sustainability, excellent research capabilities, and an analytical mindset, who meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Sociology, Journalism, Anthropology, or similar disciplines.
- Previous experience through internships, professional practice, research projects, volunteering, or entry-level positions related to sustainability, ESG, environmental management, social impact, or corporate responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to write, understand, and communicate effectively in professional contexts.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability, corporate responsibility, ESG topics, or sustainable development.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tools.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CDP, among others).
- Experience conducting research, literature reviews, stakeholder analysis, or data analysis.
