Location:
Remote – Chile Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week About Swoop We are a global community of over 100 adventure travel enthusiasts
- ex-guides, avid travellers, and those with an adventurous spirit
- spanning five continents. Since 2010, we’ve helped more than 15,000 people experience the trip of a lifetime in Antarctica, Patagonia and the Arctic. Our success is rooted in our intimate knowledge of these incredible regions, our deep care for their preservation, our commitment, as a B Corp, to doing what’s right for people and the planet and, above all, our connectedness as a global team.

About the role
We’re looking for someone with at least two years of customer-facing travel sales experience who brings a strong mix of sales skills, excellent communication and a genuine passion for the outdoors and adventure. If you’re a keen hiker, solo explorer or someone who loves getting off the beaten path, you’ll likely feel right at home talking about Patagonia. Ideally, you'll have experience selling travel directly to travellers, rather than through agents or third parties. You’ll be confident in your ability to influence, guide and convert customers, using a consultative, customer-first approach to help them find the right trip for their needs. Strong Patagonia destination knowledge is essential. You'll either have direct experience selling Patagonia trips or have travelled extensively throughout the region, developing excellent first-hand knowledge of destinations such as Aysén, Los Glaciares, the Chilean Lakes, Tierra del Fuego or Torres del Paine. Whichever route you've taken, you'll bring at least two years of experience selling holidays and the confidence to turn your destination knowledge into meaningful conversations with customers. Above all, we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate strong sales skills, commercial instincts and a genuine enthusiasm for Patagonia, alongside the ambition and drive to learn, develop and grow into a future Sales Specialist.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and Convert New EnquiriesRespond promptly to inbound leads, qualifying prospects, understanding their travel goals, and guiding them toward a tailored Patagonia adventure.
- Own the Full Sales JourneyTake customers from initial enquiry through to booking—building trust, shaping trip ideas, refining proposals, and closing the sale.

- Inspire with Destination ExpertiseUse your knowledge of Patagonia and your own passion for travel and the outdoors to educate and excite individual travellers, helping them navigate regional options and make informed decisions.
- Craft Clear, Compelling ProposalsTranslate customer needs into persuasive written proposals and trip outlines that lead to conversion.
- Communicate with Confidence and WarmthDeliver high-quality, persuasive communication via video call, phone, and email that reinforces value and builds long-term trust.
- Adapt and Improve ContinuouslyActively seek feedback, apply learning, and refine your sales approach to meet goals and progress professionally.
- Maintain CRM ExcellenceKeep customer records up to date with accurate notes, status updates, and follow-ups to ensure a seamless sales process and team alignment.
- Collaborate Across TeamsWork closely with operations, product, and marketing teams to ensure customer expectations are aligned with deliverables.
- Understand and embody Swoop’s four sustainability priorities and embed in your day-to-day responsibilities, decision making, and collaboration. About you

- You communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally across video, phone, and email.
- You build rapport and trust easily, listening actively and putting the customer’s needs first.
- You’re open to feedback, eager to develop your sales skills, and motivated to grow into a Sales Specialist.
- You write confidently and know how to use follow-ups and proposals to reinforce value and move the conversation forward.
- You’re fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills for an international audience.
- You stay organised,
