We are hiring a senior UX/UI Lead to own the experience and brand of a growing fintech product serving gig workers, freelancers, and small businesses. You will make mobile-first financial journeys clear, fast, and trustworthy for people deciding whether to share sensitive information and apply for short-term financing. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will audit the current experience, prioritize conversion and trust improvements, design and write complete flows, and use AI daily to produce prototypes and functional code. You will create a consistent design system across app, web, email, and social channels, while partnering closely with engineering, product, operations, and founders in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit the current experience, identify the largest conversion and trust problems, and prioritize improvements using evidence.
- Design and write mobile-first flows with real content, complete edge cases, and clear financial information.
- Create and maintain a shared design system across app, web, email, and social channels, using AI to generate, apply, and review system components.
- Use Claude, Claude Design, Claude Code, or comparable AI tools to produce prototypes and implementation-ready code for engineering.
- Propose screen-level conversion improvements, define success metrics, and design experiments that protect application quality as well as volume.
- Conduct customer interviews, A/B tests, funnel analysis, event instrumentation, session reviews, and surveys.
- Work directly with engineering, product,



operations, and founders, defending decisions with evidence and changing direction when better information emerges.

Experience and Skills

- Senior UX/UI Designer or UX/UI Lead with 5+ years of professional experience.
- B2 English level or higher.
- Fluent Spanish and professional written and spoken English.
- Proven daily use of AI tools such as Claude, Claude Design, or Claude Code, with the ability to show prompts, validate outputs, and identify errors.
- Strong mobile-first UX/UI design and UX writing skills, including accessibility, edge cases, slow connections, errors, rejected users, and returning users.
- Experience analyzing funnels, abandonment, product analytics, event instrumentation, and conversion experiments.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems across multiple surfaces, including app, web, email, or social media.
- Experience designing financial experiences that clearly communicate costs, payment amounts and frequency, repayment totals, eligibility, and payment failure outcomes, with awareness of legal or compliance review needs.
- Hands-on experience with UX Design, Mobile-First Design, AI-Assisted Design, Funnel Analysis, A/B Testing, Financial UX.
