This role will also perform duties with compounding of materials in a batch processing environment by following specific instructions and procedures within specification while bulk farm duties are light.Tank FarmUnload inbound raw material bulk tankers into storage tanksLoad outbound customer products into bulk tankers from storage tanksUnload storage tanks into totes to create room for inbound rawsLabel, organize and FIFO all raw material pulled from bulk storage tanks to the floorClean empty storage tanks prior to load of new raw materialsEnsure all storage tanks are properly labeled, and operators are following proper procedures while pulling material from the farmManage, clean,



and organize storage farm areasMange inventory consumables used for unloading storage tanksBatchingKeep mixer areas clean and organizedPrepare mixer switches and valvesLoad mixer with materials on batch specifications following key batch instructionsDump batch when ready for packaging using proper consumable containers and labelsSpecial projects to assist the manufacturing of mixesSkills & AbilitiesAccept direction and supervision, while possessing the initiative to make independent decisions.Multitask in a fast-paced environment.Work meticulously, neatly, precisely and with a high level of accuracy.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memosAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume and distanceEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent2-4 years of bulk storage farm experience2-4 years managing inbound and outbound bulk tanker loads1-3 years’ experience in batch making (Kettle vessel and cook batching a plus)Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing/walking.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Must be able to perform duties in multiple weather conditionsThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.COMPENSATION & BENEIFITSLocation: Elk Grove Village, ILSchedule: 1 st Shift 7:00 pm-3:30 pm Monday - FridayPay: This position has a salary range of $25.44-$28.27 per hour.
