About the role

- Provide general advisory support as well as provide accurate and current information on project activities relating to HR matters ensuring HR priorities and accountabilities are carried out in accordance with the project guidelines.

- Work with HR Manager to form appropriate strategies and seek advice where appropriate.

- Assist with the development of policies, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with business needs.

- Implement People & Performance processes that align with organizational policies and procedures.

- Deliver people pre-start activities and induction programs including supporting line managers with role and team alignment to set people up for success.

- Support project teams with people resourcing and mobility activities to provide the right people, with the right skills, at the right time to meet project requirements.

- Develop and implement policies, procedures and tools to enable effective project conditions and development.

- Ensure all Human Resources documentation is correctly completed and filed in the required systems in line with project and legal guidelines.

- Provide P&P; senior advisory services, coaching and support to the business to assist them to deliver on their accountabilities and meet their P&P; needs for all stages of the employee lifecycle.

- Contribute to the design, delivery and continual improvement of leading people practices.

- Provides workforce and collaborators with advice and support on day-to-day management of HR issues.

- Support annual performance review and development program.

- Ensure P&P; systems and processes are applied and maintained.

- Support and monitor employment relations matters including contracts, disciplinary issues, complaints, and investigations to ensure regulatory requirements and due process are followed.

About you

About you

- Undergraduate degree in Business/HR/Psychology or equivalent.

- 7+ years in an HR related role with on-site responsibilities in mining, construction or a similarly complex industry.

- Knowledge of Chilean labour law; experience working with different applicable project rosters; mobilization and demobilization processes is a must.

- Knowledge and some experience with all HR subsystems.

- Experience with expatriation and mobility processes is desirable.

- Ability to communicate with all levels of business.

- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple stakeholders.

- Flexible and adaptable.

- Ability influence effectively.

- Ability to manage conflict within a working environment.

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in both English and Spanish.

- Experience with a HRIS would be an advantage.

- Able to work on site when project roster begins.
