Position Overview:



CPS (Commercial Products Supply) is a key part of the Advantaged Supply Chain of the Technical Function of The Coca-Cola Company.  CPS manufactures concentrates and beverage bases for sale to bottling partners all over the world.  This global organization manages a network of 19 manufacturing plants in 18 different countries along with 2 office locations (Atlanta & Drogheda, Ireland).  CPS also manages complex additional materials supply chains (e.g. juice, coffee, tea, milk, etc.) on behalf of bottling partners.



The CPS Plant General Manager provides leadership and strategic direction for CPS Chile Plant, in all areas of Plant Management, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QSE, Finance,

HR and Operational Excellence while ensuring continuity of supply to all markets that the plant is the primary supply point.



The Plant General Manager is responsible for development and execution of the 3-year Business Plan, implementation of CPS Strategic Initiatives, ensuring the compliance with international standards of operation, corporate requirements and local regulations, and collaborative work with key stakeholders (including Business Units, Local Technical Functions and Bottlers) customer centric approach while promoting growth culture mindset and high employee engagement.

The Plant General Manager is responsible for development and execution of the 3-year Business Plan, implementation of CPS Strategic Initiatives, ensuring the compliance with international standards of operation, corporate requirements and local regulations, and collaborative work with key stakeholders (including Business Units, Local Technical Functions and Bottlers) customer centric approach while promoting growth culture mindset and high employee engagement.





Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:



General Management



- Implement and ensure the timely execution of the long-term strategy, vision and mission for CPS



- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Plant, in all areas of Plant Management, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QSE, Finance, HR and Operational Excellence.  A key part of this will be to increase flexibility (in line with the changing portfolio of TCCC) and productivity for now and for the future



- Site leader with local legal entity responsibility, including local regulatory, authority relationship and management



- Lead and manage a team of direct reports while also providing inspirational leadership to a large number of indirect reports to maintain and further enhance employee engagement.  Ensure that the right level of capability is developed and maintained within the Plant for now and for the future. 



Plant Performance and Business Continuity



- Directs all aspects of the business operations, including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QSE, Finance, HR and Operational Excellence



- Control of all operational aspects including operating income, profit, operations & production, quality, plant production development, health & safety, finance and compliance within assigned



- Prepare an annual business plan and KBIs to drive the performance of key result areas on Plant activities and continuous implementation monitoring.



- Ensure the Plant Performance Management System which includes the key performance indicators covering manufacturing, engineering, quality, sustainability, employee engagement, service and finance to meet the targets defined in the Business Plan.



- Develop and implement robust business contingencies plans to ensure supply continuity to markets that the plant is the primary supply point



- Ensure readiness to support contingencies in other Plants and markets acting as CSP



- Define the BCP in collaboration with the Operating Unit to align the supply plan with the commercial strategy of the business.



Modernization and Optimization of the Network



- Capital investment plan and execution aligned with best in class technology applied for the beverage industries.



- Maximize the use of assets, optimizing costs of operations through high performance processes.



- Design the  3-year strategy of modernization / automation and implement the actions aligned with the CPS Transformation journey.



Deliver Sustainability Commitments



- Compliance with international standard practices, corporate requirements and local regulations related to Safety and Environment



- Execution of Sustainability Global Programs and promote a culture of safety, environment, and social responsibility



- Ensure Safe Working Environment to Protect employees



- Develop partnership with Operating Units and Bottlers to support the communities where we operate



Sustainable Engagement



- Promote culture with growth mindset to support the business strategy goals



- Design and implement people development plan to ensure the skills and capabilities required to support business needs



- Identify, develop and grow the next generation of Local leaders through active performance management, coaching, feedback and the People Development Forum (PDF) process.



Education Requirements:



University Degree in Engineering and/or Business Management.



Preferably a Master’s Degree in Executive Management or similar.



Fully bilingual Spanish-English.





Related Work Experience:



- 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably currently having same role (GM) in a manufacturing company OR with at least 10 years of increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment.



- Business and Management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and people management).



Technical skills and certification:



- Experienced in Manufacturing and Beverage Industries.



- Strong knowledge in Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.



- Proven financial acumen.



- Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.



- Experience in managing continuous improvement projects.



- Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.



- Strong operational experience with the ability to establish and measure KPI’s.



- Possess working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 fundamentals.



- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
