Shape your story here.The JobManage corporate communications and press relations on behalf of WM Chile, working closely with local and functional leadership to develop, execute and track internal and external communications strategy and messaging related to the company’s businesses, executives, industry position and corporate culture in Chile.
Major ActivitiesThe Daily - Major Activities Draft, socialize and execute comms plans based on local strategic business objectives, assuring alignment with regional and international strategy. Includes positioning and promotion for the corporate umbrella brand, business lines, portfolio and local/regional leadership. Manages local comms budget. Coordinates closed with brand comms teams. Provides timely updates / clip reports. Sits on the regional CSR Leadership Council.Partner closely with GM and HR to assure sustained employee engagement, coordinate with regional comms team as needed. Key objectives include aligning objectives; driving employee empowerment; contributing to culture creation; and nurturing collaboration/transparency across WM Chile. Primary tools and platforms include memos, newsletters, town halls, social media, corporate intranet, meetings, etc. Provide strategic communications guidance to local GM and management team. Craft messaging to assure positive positioning for WarnerMedia execs among a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders that drive business success. Arrange relevant speaking opportunities, including drafting talking points, executive briefings, issues management, etc. Work with local trade, business and consumer press/influencers for promotion/protection of our brands, executives, and businesses. Serve as primary press contact in Chile for corporate matters and contribute to regional WM Press Room. Manage local PR agency to support corp comms objectives and provide timely tracking of coverage, including flagging areas for concern or amplification in or beyond Chile. Help manage local crisis management efforts on behalf of the company.Organize / coordinate events designed to position the company and/or our executives internally with employees and externally with press, industry/business/political stakeholders.Job RequirementsThe Essentials
- 5 years of experience at a PR agency or managing PR duties “in house”- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish, proficient written and oral communication skills in English
- Diploma or equivalent in journalism, PR or marketing
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with an ability to juggle multiple prioritiesThe Nice to Haves. Knowledge of Media & Entertainment industry
