Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Toronto or Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing individual tasks throughout the design and construction process, ensuring project compliance with client document controls and file specifications, and administering project closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation.
The Project Manager will work closely with internal resources and design-build contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing submittal approvals,
RFIs, change orders, and punch lists
- Coordinating meetings and ensuring action items are completed
- Administering project observation reports and participating in commissioning
- Transitioning close-out documentation to operations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
- 2+ years of IPD experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field
- Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or P6
- Good communication and technical skills
