The Chile O&T; Head/SCOO is accountable for the end to end results of the Operations and Technology (O&T;) organization within the country. The Chile O&T; Head will be a value add to the organization providing a superior service delivery and seeking innovative solutions to cross functional/franchise topics. This requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. The Head will also maintain an effective control and compliance environment in all departments while developing and retaining O&T; talent through a conducive working environment. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
The Banco de Chile Liaison will act as point of contact between Citi and BdC, supporting the regional Product teams to ensure the end-to-end processes are completed as expected. In addition, act as country lead for efficiency or improvement initiatives defined by the Business or Product teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure full compliance with Citi Policies, Procedures, Reporting Requirements and segregation of functions in O&T;
- Take a leadership role in exploring and developing key themes within O&T.; Examples: utilization of global platforms, regionalization, straight-through-processing, outsourcing
- Lead, manage and control financials, taxonomy, HC and productivity initiatives for O&T.; This includes direct expenses, allocations, budget and expense forecasts and scorecard commitments.
- Maintain a strong control and compliance environment and MCA rating for O&T; that can rapidly adapt to changes. Proactively raises IBAMs and addresses issues in a timely manner through the drafting, implementation, and tracking of relevant Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
- Liaison between Local Senior Management and Regional Owners of Enterprise O&T; such as CTI, CRS, GIS, RMO, COB, BTSS, CSIS, etc.
- Team work with CSC Site Head to ensure proper infrastructure and services to Business units operating within the CSC
- Lead interaction with Internal Audit matters. Pass internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with HR to improve Voice of the Employee indicators, manage payroll and maintain relationships with Unions and agreement negotiation.
- Partners and works collaboratively with regional business leaders and colleagues
- Understand the primary issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions.
- Able to influence at all levels without formal reporting lines
- O&T; Representative at local country committees, including CCC, BRCC, ALCO, CMT, CSC Site Update, etc.
- Complies to the Country Governance Policy and O&T; Roles and responsibilities handbook
- Ensure proper escalations to senior management
- Manage external relationships as needed, such as meeting with local regulators, unions and vendors
- Liaison between Citibank NA and Banco de Chile (BdC)
- Facilitator between Citibank and BdC to maintain a positive relationship, including when changes/new services are required to be implemented by BdC
- Negotiate the Master Service Agreement (MSA) every two years
- Oversee the Reconcilement process for Banco de Chile NOSTRO account being performed by Global Reconciliation Unit (GRU) and make sure all unreconciled items are properly managed and promptly escalated for resolution.
- Manages the Team's career, development & training needs & improve their Voice of the Employee (VOE)

- Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions.

**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear communication and Leadership skills to manage and drive the business agenda through the matrixed organizational structure across the country and the region.
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Bilingual - Spanish and English required
