Senior Infrastructure Automation Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned professional to design and implement robust automation frameworks that streamline our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and containerization.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to modernize our development workflows and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include developing automated CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes, and integrating various DevOps tools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Automate build, test,
and deployment processes to improve the speed and reliability of software releases.
- Migrate applications and services to modern technology stacks and deployment models through infrastructure automation and containerization.
- Build technical solutions to enhance DevOps tools and processes across the organization.
- Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new technologies or alternative uses of existing tools to continuously evolve the DevOps ecosystem.
- Integrate and manage CI/CD tools within cloud-based or hybrid environments.
- Provide Level 2/3 operational support for DevOps pipelines and testing tools, ensuring timely incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure seamless DevOps integration and deployment readiness.
- Document configurations, standards, and processes to support long-term scalability and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm, deployments,
and cluster management).
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (especially Git) and GitOps practices.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management principles.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GitLab CI or similar pipeline automation platforms.
- Exposure to GitOps frameworks, ideally ArgoCD or Flux.
- Familiarity with performance or load testing tools such as BlazeMeter, JMeter, or others.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Experience in securing DevOps workflows (e.g., secrets management, security scanning, compliance automation).
