**Job Description**:
AFRY Process Industry Division is now looking for a TECHNOLOGY MANAGER / SPECIALIST, MINERALS PROCESSING to reinforce our team serving a variety of mining and metals industries.
The role of the Technology Manager is to act as a project manager and/or minerals processing technology expert in planning or execution phases of Clients’ investment projects. You would actively contribute to project sales, development of new solutions and ways of working. You have a background in mining / concentrating technology, either in industry, consulting or engineering.
You have experience on investment phase conceptual and feasibility studies regarding mining projects.
Your understanding of mining and minerals processing covers throughout the mine value chain.
Depending on your experience and skills profile, your tasks include sales, proposal development, project management, lead / process engineering tasks as well as development in ways of working and client offering. **Qualifications**:
The person we are looking for has:
- Minimum 7 years hands-on experience of minerals processing technology development, conceptual & basic engineering and project execution
- In the position of a Technology Manager, ability to act as in leading expert role in projects
- In the position of a Technology Specialist, deep knowledge of the field and ability to provide practical client solutions
- M.Sc. education or higher in relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop new solutions,
projects and approaches in a client-oriented manner
It is seen as an advantage if you have:
- Understanding of NI43-101 and JORC-code based economical and technical scoping-, pre-feasibility-, feasibility studies in mining industry
- Ability to develop minerals processing concepts for different ore types
- Geometallurgical or mineralogical knowhow
