The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join us in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you will be assigned specific accounts within the SoLA region, and you’ll build long-lasting relationships and expand our business. You will oversee all aspects of sales, including price negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment. As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll gain understanding of customer business and technology environments and suggest solutions from the Red Hat portfolio to provide competitive advantage. We'll need you to collaborate with partner sales and services organizations as well as IT and business executives to ensure the delivery and sales of Red Hat’s solutions.
What you will do:
- Sell Red Hat solutions and services within your assigned territory- Create strategic and tactical plans for new business development and guide the extended sales team to maximize revenue and growth; meet performance and sales goals- Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and price quotes- Forecast and close sales in line with company goals- Understand customers' business and technology product needs and communicate them to executives.
What you will bring:
- +7 years of sales management experience with a demonstrated track record of success, preferably in the software or IT industry- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline.- Understanding of complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing- Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple solutions and services- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own and to make decisions- Knowledge of Applications and Infrastructure solutions; passion for open source technology.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
