Job Description
We are seeking a high-performing General Manager (GM) to lead and scale Zubale's operations in Chile. This role requires a strong executor and operator who thrives in fast-paced environments, has prior experience running operationally intensive businesses, and consistently delivers results through discipline and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own P&L; and lead the full business in Chile: operations, sales, client success, HR, and support functions
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performance local team focused on execution, accountability, and operational excellence
- Ensure rigorous operational execution and financial discipline across all business units
- Drive revenue growth while optimizing costs to maximize profitability and cash flow
- Lead strategic planning and execution to expand our footprint and client base in Chile
- Implement scalable processes, KPIs, and systems to improve productivity and service levels
- Collaborate closely with the COO, CPO, CEO, and regional leadership team to align local strategy with company-wide goals
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in operations-heavy businesses (e.g., logistics, retail, last mile delivery, staffing, startups)
- Prior P&L; ownership or country manager/general management experience
- Proven track record of leading large teams and executing in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong financial acumen — comfortable managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions
- Obsessed with operational excellence, detail orientation, and continuous improvement
- Clear communicator and disciplined leader with a hands-on approach
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
