Position Overview:
Empresa confidencial is looking for a skilled Electric Controls Engineer to join our team in Chile. In this role, you will be working with BESS EMS and SCADA power plant projects. You will work the entire project lifecycle, from initial client kickoff through to final on-site commissioning. This position requires a hands-on engineer who is ready to travel internationally to oversee the installation of EMS hardware at various project sites.
Responsibilities:
Controls Engineering and Simulation
o End-to-End Project Ownership: Work in BESS EMS and SCADA power plant projects from the initial client kickoff meeting through design, implementation, and final commissioning.
o Hardware Installation: Travel to international project sites to oversee and execute the installation of BESS EMS and SCADA power plant hardware.
o Commissioning: Perform on-site testing and commissioning to ensure the EMS is fully integrated and performing according to technical specifications.
Engineering Support & Coordination
o Technical Deliverables: Prepare and review control diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical documentation for BESS EMS and SCADA power plant.
o Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving design clarifications and site-driven engineering changes related to controls.
Site & Stakeholder Management
o International Travel: Maintain availability for integral travel to support site executio
