**The Role**

Are you a seasoned network and cybersecurity professional with a passion for protecting critical infrastructure while optimizing network performance? Kyndryl is seeking a **Senior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer**who will serve as a technical expert in designing, implementing, and securing complex network environments for our Fortune 100 clients.

As our Senior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll work in a complex, multi-vendor environment where you'll leverage your deep expertise in both networking and cybersecurity to architect secure, scalable solutions. You'll be responsible for implementing cutting-edge security controls, designing robust network architectures, and ensuring our clients' infrastructure remains resilient against evolving cyber threats.

This role requires someone who can think strategically about network security, implement comprehensive security frameworks, and stay ahead of the constantly evolving threat landscape. **Required Technical and Professional Experience**

**Networking Expertise**(6+ years required)



with **Protocol Configuration**:Expert-level knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, HSRP, VRRP
- Proven experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networks
- **VPN Technologies**:Hands-on experience configuring IPsec and SSL VPNs. **Firewall Management**:Implementation experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Fortinet solutions
- **Network Monitoring**:Proficiency with Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Zabbix. **Cloud Networking**:Implementation experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
- **SDN Technologies**:Experience with Cisco ACI and VMware NSX.

**Cybersecurity Expertise (2+ years required).**Implementation and management of IDS/IPS systems (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- **Access Control**:Configuration of VPNs, NAC, and network segmentation solutions.
- **Secure Protocols**:Deep knowledge of IPSec, SSL/TLS, and SSH protocols.
***Security Operations & Compliance.**Experience with enterprise**SIEM platforms**and log analysis. Proven track record in digital forensics and incident management.**Cloud Security**:Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP security services (IAM, Security Groups, KMS).**Compliance Frameworks**:Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS requirements and**Risk Management**:Experience with ISO 31000, FAIR, and security audit processes**

**Networking Certifications**:Cisco CCNP**(required).**CompTIA Network+**and**Security+**Cloud Networking**:AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer Associate.**

**Security Certifications (Highly Preferred)**:CISSP**-**CEH**-**OSCP**-**CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or CASP+.**AWS/Azure Security Specialty**certifications**
