**Head of Health & Safety Chile**

**Mission**
The purpose of this position is to contribute to ENGIE strategic objectives and deliver HSE performance based on ENGIE Group expectations in two complementary roles:
1. Leading the Management and Coordination of HSE activities specifically for the R-GBU in Chile.
2. Supporting and challenging HSE activities over the rest of Latam, i.e Mexico, Peru and Colombia.
- Acquisitions
- Greenfield and brownfield development
- Construction Projects and commissioning
- Operation and Maintenance of Facilities
**Main Areas of Responsibility and Requirements**
1. Support the R-GBU SouthAm H&S; team, to achieve Group Objectives and compliance to Group Policies and Rules within the Country entities of Colombia, Peru, and Mexico, on top of Chile.
2. Facilitate the connexion and joint initiatives of R-GBU H&S; with regional entities of R-GBU.
3. Set and lead any initiative at Latam level, in coordination with R-GBU SouthAm.
4. Challenge and support local entities H&S; teams.
5. Participate to the identification and assessment of H&S; managers and leaders, identified to join R-GBU Latam.
6. Contribute to the regional H&S; reporting for R-GBU and review H&S; KPi of countries and entities, based on their regular reports.
7.
In the context of ENGIE One Safety Culture Program, take the role of Champion for the Pilote country (Chile), in coordination with the Project Manager.
8. Develop H&S; Policies and Procedures in support of Group and Legislative requirements, Risk and Strategic objectives.
9. Ensure the correct reporting of HiPo root cause analysis (RCA) and control relevant action plans follow-up.
**Degree**
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Internationally recognised Occupational Safety and Health qualification.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 12 years’ relevant working experience in international organisations at H&S; Management level or Operational level.
- Experience with technical, financial, economic and legal aspects of business pertaining to H&S.;
- Capable of managing oneself in a high workload, short deadline and competitive environment and delivering the expected business outcome.
- Demonstrable track record in successful management of H&S; within Corporate, Operational, Construction and Manufacturing.
**Specific Knowledge / Skills**
- Knowledge in H&S; regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge in H&S; Management system implementation.
- Knowledge of ISO standards.
- Detailed knowledge of energy markets.
- Strong working knowledge of project management.
- Strong knowledge of HSE Tools and initiatives.
- Knowledge of power plants, construction, servicing & maintenance.
- Experience in HSSE aspects in the Project Life Cycle Model from start-up through to close out.
- Experience in Due diligence assessments.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
