The Work You'll Do At Sovos, we're transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance---helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global regulatory landscape. As a Network Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure that powers our global operations.

This isn't a maintenance role---it's a strategic leadership position. You'll set the direction for network operations, align execution with organizational goals,



and build a team and environment built for long-term scale. You'll be the person who connects operational excellence with business outcomes, ensures nothing falls through the cracks, and drives continuous improvement across a 24/7 environment.

More specifically, you will:

n

- Lead and manage Network Operations Supervisors and the overall NOC function
- Define operational standards, policies, and procedures
- Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management practices
- Coordinate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams
- Manage staffing levels, hiring, training plans, and budgets
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and tooling enhancements
- Provide executive-level reporting on network performance and risk
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements

What We Need From You

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
- 8+ years of experience in network operations, including 4+ years in a management or senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, BGP)
- Experience overseeing network monitoring tools and operational performance metrics




- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a 24/7 operational environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix)
- Experience with incident management processes and tools
- Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) for communication with customers and internal stakeholders
