We are looking to hire someone for the position of **Upper Elementary Teacher **for the next school
year (2025-2026). This is an _international faculty position _intended for educators with **experience in**

**Qualifications and Experience**
University degree in Elementary Education required.
- Experience in Grades 3-5 preferred.
- High proficiency in English communication skills both written and oral.
- Conversational Spanish communication skills preferred
- Experience in an international and multicultural school.
- Experience teaching and differentiating instruction for English language learners
- Experience in using the Common Core Standards in ELA and mathematics, the C3
- Framework, and the Next Generation Science Standards.
- Experience delivering CASEL-based social-emotional learning curriculum.
- Experience using the workshop model across content areas.
- Experience teaching English Language Arts through a balanced literacy approach.
- Experience using inquiry/design thinking to design and deliver instruction.
- Experience using a range of assessment data to document student growth and to plan for
- instruction.
- Experience in creating student-centered learning environments.
- Experience delivering CASEL-based social-emotional learning curriculum.
- Experience in differentiating instruction.

- Excellent human relations skills in order to communicate effectively with both host country

and international parents.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
Provide whole group instruction along with differentiated small group instruction and
- individual support as needed.
- Create and maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom/school environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and team members in the designing of curriculum.
- Both individually and with teams collect and utilize informal and formal data to respond to
- learning needs and make curricular adjustments.
- Maintain regular communications with students and families, both formally and informally
- on topics such as learning progress, behavior, and emotional well-being.
- Attend to a wide variety of school responsibilities as assigned by administrators.
- Contribute to the school community through after school activities.
