Responsibilities

- Design and build cloud data infrastructure leveraging GCP services including Data Flow, GCS, Big Query, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer
- Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to deploy and monitor environments
- Work with data engineering teams to create automated data workflows using Python
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions to support continuous delivery
- Collaborate with teams to optimize performance and enhance reliability of data platforms
- Maintain cloud-based tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Apache Airflow
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues to maintain scalable and dependable cloud data systems

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in cloud environments focusing on GCP services like Big Query, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc
- Proficient in Python and SQL for developing data pipelines




- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI
- Background in Linux systems and shell scripting
- Understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and NAT
- Familiarity with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, or ELK Stack

Nice to have

- Experience with AWS or Azure platforms, including ECS, S3, Data Lake, or Synapse
- Flexibility with IaC tools such as Ansible
- Experience using alternative data workflow automation tools
