IDT is looking for a Dev

Ops Engineer to join us remotely from LATAM.

This position is open only to applicants residing in LATAM.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage infrastructure running Kubernetes in public and private cloud, maintaining and supporting Hashicorp Vault and Consul.

Develop and maintain robust infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure As A Code, and develop automation scripts and tools for system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand software development and deployment requirements, and provide technical guidance on infrastructure and Dev

Ops best practices.

Continuously monitor and analyze system performance metrics, and implement improvements to enhance scalability, availability, and security.

Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity problems, and security vulnerabilities.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities by implementing backup, failover,



and recovery mechanisms.

Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.

Conduct regular system audits and maintain documentation regarding infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on infrastructure and Dev

Ops processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Dev

Ops Engineer.

Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.

Extensive knowledge of Hashicorp Vault and Consul, including managing secrets, access controls, and service discovery.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ruby.
