Responsibilities
- Diagnose, configure, troubleshoot, and solve problems for applications in the Atlassian landscape.
- Research and identify solutions to complex application L1-L2 support issues while delivering a great customer experience.
- Collaborate with Development, Sustaining, and QA teams using teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Install, configure, and maintain Apps for high availability and scalability.
- Interact with integral customers, troubleshooting business-critical problems with technical and soft skills.
- Participate in a 24×5 global support setup as needed.
- Document and share knowledge base with others.
- Take ownership, be accountable, and maintain a strong customer focus.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Available to work on rotation shifts.
- Strong communication skills in spoken English.
- Strong analytical skills to quickly identify root cause and recommend solutions.
- 1+ years of experience as a system or application support engineer (preferred).
- Knowledge of shell scripting (Korn Shell,
Bourne Shell, Bash, sed, awk, groovy scripting, Jython, Python, Nunjucks).
- Programming skills such as Java or Groovy.
- Comfortable with Linux and/or Windows OS administration.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware or similar).
- Ability to write, edit, and debug SQL queries in MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL, Oracle or other database systems.
- Experience resolving DevOps integration issues involving Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Github, Bitbucket.
- Analytical skills for reviewing application server logs (Apache, Tomcat).
