EHS Engineer – Telecommunications

Responsibilities:

- To support the effective adoption and implementation of Huawei’s ongoing health and safety strategy, including project EHS planning and customer communication.
- To drive incident reduction across telecom projects, providing practical EHS guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
- To ensure compliance with local regulations and internal EHS standards, including audits, safety controls, and continuous improvement actions.
- To manage accreditation processes (platforms, documentation, and mobilization files) for project start-up.
- To conduct site inspections (including work at heights, energy, and external plant) and participate in safety meetings.
- To review risk assessments, method statements, and ensure safe execution before and during project activities.




- To investigate incidents and provide detailed reports to management and stakeholders.

Work Experience and Knowledge:

- EHS Engineer degree or Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience (ideally no more than 7) in similar roles.
- Experience in telecommunications projects (work at heights, energy, external plant, etc.).
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and project documentation management.
- Strong organizational, proactive, and methodical profile.
- Availability to start in the short term.
- Willingness to travel based on project needs.
- Advanced English is desirable.
