Consultant ENT Surgeon with an interest in Rhinology +/- General Paediatric Otolaryngology
Position at University Hospital Monklands, with duties across NHS Lanarkshire.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the on-call rota.
Provide clinical care as a consultant ENT surgeon.
Engage in teaching medical students and staff.
Contribute to research, education and leadership activities within the department.
Work within a team of 9 consultants, 2 Specialty Doctors, 4 STs, 2 FY2s, 1 Core Trainee and 2 CDFs.
Full-time post on a 10 PA basis, with up to 2 EPAs available for additional outpatient and/or procedure sessions or management activity (full-time only).
Complete a Personal Development Appraisal (SPA) cycle for appraisal and revalidation, and a second SPA to support professional activities and service needs.
Job Structure and Support

Support for individuals with well-developed ideas for service improvement.

Eligibility for honorary status at the University of Glasgow for teaching, research or scholarship contributions.
