This role is adecuado for a full-stack engineer with strong backend and cloud expertise who is passionate about building and supporting AI-driven platforms and services. The position focuses primarily on AI-related initiatives while remaining hands‑on across the full technology stack—from backend APIs and frontend applications to infrastructure, deployment, and observability.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities span API and service development, frontend engineering, cloud‑native infrastructure, and operational excellence. You will work with technologies such as Java Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI, Angular, Azure, AKS, Helm, Terraform, and related tooling to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application & API Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Build asynchronous APIs using FastAPI (Python) and Java Spring Boot
- Implement event‑driven architectures, integrating with message queues and streaming platforms
- Develop and maintain custom libraries, SDKs, and CLI tools in Java and Python

Frontend Development

- Build and enhance Angular‑based frontend applications
- Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API integration and user experience

Cloud, Infrastructure & DevOps

- Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Deploy and optimize applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Helm
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized application deployments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

Operations, Observability & Reliability

- Ensure high availability and performance through monitoring and observability solutions such as Datadog
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, including API performance and infrastructure failures
- Support SLAs, incident management processes,



and post‑incident reviews
- Participate in on‑call rotations and provide customer support during business hours as needed
- Document solutions, designs, and operational procedures clearly and consistently
- Work closely with platform, infrastructure, security, and AI teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
- Contribute to engineering best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience with Java Spring Boot
- 3–5 years of experience with public cloud platforms (Azure preferred; GCP acceptable)
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- 3–5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- 3–5 years working within Agile SDLC environments

Frontend & Full‑Stack Skills

- 2+ years of frontend development experience using Angular
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous workflows, and distributed systems

AI & Emerging Technologies (Preferred)

- Exposure to or experience with AI and GenAI concepts, including:
- Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agent frameworks

Soft Skills & Attributes

- Ability to manage small to medium‑size technical initiatives end‑to‑end
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and adapt to changing requirements
- Strong curiosity and desire to learn, grow, and contribute across multiple technology domains
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.
