Consultant ENT Surgeon with an interest in Rhinology +/- General Paediatric Otolaryngology

Position at University Hospital Monklands, with duties across NHS Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in the on‑call rota.
- Provide clinical care as a consultant ENT surgeon.
- Engage in teaching medical students and staff.
- Contribute to research, education and leadership activities within the department.
- Work within a team of 9 consultants, 2 Specialty Doctors, 4 STs, 2 FY2s, 1 Core Trainee and 2 CDFs.
- Full‑time post on a 10 PA basis, with up to 2 EPAs available for additional outpatient and/or procedure sessions or management activity (full‑time only).
- Complete a Personal Development Appraisal (SPA) cycle for appraisal and revalidation, and a second SPA to support professional activities and service needs.
