Job Description
We're on the lookout for a problem-solving superstar, aka a front office employee.
You will be the face of the hotel, taking care of reservations, welcoming guests and ensuring a pleasant stay.
You will also inform guests of the best local restaurants, pizza places and wine bars.
You may have to handle quirky requests such as a bowl of red M&M;'s or a framed photo of Nicolas Cage.
A friendly smile and smooth operation of front desk duties are essential.
Responsibilities
As a front desk employee you will manage multiple tasks simultaneously, interact with guests, handle reservations and maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
You will also provide local information and decide on granting or denying unusual requests.
Qualifications
You are looking for a fun part-time;
Adaptable availability – including during holidays and weekends;




Hospitality is in your DNA – you have a natural feel for what guests need;
Preferably, you have experience in (international) hotels or a similar role, to ensure the best possible service for our guests;
You speak fluent English.
Do you also speak Dutch?
That's a nice bonus;
You preferably live in or near Amsterdam;
You are a team player but can also work independently;
Knowledge of the Mews reservation system is a plus.
Benefits
We offer a suitable salary according to the collective labour agreement for hospitality in reference scale 4;
Travel allowance based on the distance between home and work (min. 15 km).
