Financial Controller – Weir Motion Metrics – Santiago Chile (Hybrid)

Purpose of Role: Weir Software Solutions team is currently seeking a Financial Controller, based in Santiago Chile. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the financial activities of Motion Metrics Chile and Motion Metrics LATAM, partnering closely with the Regional Sales Director – Motion Metrics to support commercial, financial, and operational decision making. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance – Special Projects, with executive exposure of the SWS Division. You will support statutory and local compliance, FP&A;, month end close, lead to cash activities, and local and international tax requirements. A key focus of the role will be supporting the integration of Motion Metrics into the Software Solutions division, including the ERP transition from Oracle to NetSuite during 2026, with scope to expand across the broader SWS portfolio in Chile and LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a finance business partner to the Regional Sales Director and regional leadership, supporting financial, accounting, and operational activities for Motion Metrics Chile and LATAM.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, performance tracking, and SaaS KPIs (ARR, churn), while driving continuous improvement, automation, and change initiatives across finance operations.
- Ensure statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance for Chile, including SII invoicing and filings, and support internal and external audits, responding to group audit queries as required.
- Review and support month‑end close in collaboration with ESCO and SWS finance teams, ensuring compliance with SWS policies and controls.




- Partner with Sales and Operations across the end‑to‑end lead‑to‑cash process, including IFRS‑compliant revenue recognition, customer billing, collections, renewals, and resolution of AR issues.
- Liaise with operations on logistics and product dispatch, while leading and supporting the ERP transition from Oracle to NetSuite and embedding SWS controls post‑implementation.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate finance role within an international organisation.
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Management; CPA / CA / CFA / ACCA qualification highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, month end close processes, and Chilean statutory and tax compliance.
- Proven FP&A;, business partnering, and financial control experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using finance systems and automation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver to deadlines and operate effectively in a fast changing environment.
- Professional fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
