What is this role like?
We’re looking for a Product Manager to help make Topsort’s platform work in the real world: across APIs, external partners, enterprise customers, and internal teams moving quickly.
This is not a traditional PM role where success comes from owning a roadmap in isolation. You’ll work alongside engineering, GTM, customers, and industry partners to turn ambiguous requirements and external constraints into shipped product outcomes. You should be technical enough to reason about APIs and systems, socially sharp enough to align stakeholders while preserving the integrity of Topsort's product obsession, and hands‑on enough to create clarity when the path is messy.
You’ll thrive here if you are a builder, translator, and operator: someone who can sit with engineers to understand what is possible, work with customers and partners to find new problems to solve, and push the right work forward without waiting for perfect information.
In this role, you will:
- Drive Integration Execution: Lead complex integration initiatives between partners, enterprise customers, and internal teams, turning ambiguity into shipped outcomes.
- Translate Between Technical and Business Needs: Work closely with engineering, GTM, and external stakeholders to define requirements, clarify tradeoffs, and ensure technical decisions map to customer and business value.
- Navigate External Dependencies: Manage the reality of partner timelines, customer constraints, API limitations, incomplete documentation, and shifting priorities while keeping momentum.
- Create Clarity Without Over‑Process: Build lightweight structure, documentation, and decision‑making frameworks that help teams move faster without slowing down execution.
- Influence Decision‑making: Align engineering, product, business, and external stakeholders around priorities, risks, and execution plans.
- Improve the Integration Experience: Identify recurring friction across customer and partner implementations and help turn one‑off learnings into scalable product improvements.
What (we think) you need to be successful
We are looking for outlier candidates who are technical, highly organized, and energized by messy real‑world product problems. You do not need to check every box, but you should be able to show that you can create momentum across technical and non‑technical teams in a fast‑moving environment.
- API & Integration Fluency: Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, technical constraints, and how software systems connect. You do not need to be a former software engineer, but you should be comfortable working directly with engineers.
- Technical Product Judgment: Ability to evaluate tradeoffs, ask strong technical questions, and help teams make practical decisions without needing perfect specs.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Strong ability to work across engineering, GTM, customers, and external partners, especially when priorities are competing or ownership is unclear.
- Execution Under Ambiguity: Comfort operating in an environment where requirements are incomplete,
priorities shift quickly, and external dependencies create uncertainty.
- Customer & Partner‑Facing Mindset: Experience working with enterprise customers, partners, or external stakeholders to understand needs, manage expectations, and solve practical implementation challenges.
- Communication & Documentation: Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences in Advanced/Fluent English, and to create documentation that improves alignment and repeatability.
- Relevant Experience: Experience in B2B SaaS, platform products, integrations, partnerships, solutions engineering, technical customer success, or technical product management is highly valued.
- Onsite Availability: Availability to work onsite 4 days a week at our Boston, São Paulo, or Santiago office.
What We Value
- Deep dive into details: Professionals who are not content with superficial answers and dive deeply into the details to uncover root causes and optimal solutions.
- Team first: A low need for individual recognition, always prioritizing collective results over personal credit.
- You thrive with ambiguity: Exceptional ability to tackle open‑ended problems in unstructured environments, turning chaos into structured innovation.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn, mentor, lead, and follow as the situation demands, fostering growth at all levels.
- Urgency: A disproportionate sense of urgency in execution, while keeping scalability and the creation of replicable processes in mind to ensure long‑term success.
- Curiosity: Genuinely curious individuals who can quickly learn difficult concepts and apply them effectively.
