We are looking for a conscientious, hands‑on working supervisor to assist in the smooth running of our retail units within Central Fife. This includes the dining room and Grab & Go within Victoria Hospital as well as our café at Whyteman’s Brae hospital. The service covers breakfast and lunch alongside a growing hospitality provision.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities within the retail catering service, dining room, Grab & Go and Whyteman’s Brae Café, ensuring performance is maintained to the highest standards.
- Motivate, support and train team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Work closely with chefs and assist in the kitchen when required.
- Take a hands‑on approach at the servery, supporting service during busy periods.
- Ensure all HACCP, food safety, health and safety and cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all retail service areas.
- Support stock control, work alongside chefs to ensure food presentation is to the highest standard and minimise waste.

Requirements

To succeed in this busy role you will require strong supervision skills, excellent communication, superb problem‑solving abilities and immaculate attention to detail. A background in the hospitality or retail sector is vital. A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures is essential. You should be a hands‑on team player who can lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Working Hours

Departments operate between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm, seven days per week, including public holidays. Working hours are predominantly 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with the need for shift coverage outside these times to meet service
