About the Role
We are seeking a substantive specialty doctor in Renal and General Internal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team at University Hospital Monklands in Lanarkshire.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient renal services, including procedures, dialysis, and renal virtual ward activity.
- Offer general medical resident on‑call support.
- Participate in continuing medical education, governance, and departmental meetings.
- Collaborate on quality improvement, patient safety, medical education, research & development, and potential appraisal duties.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should be qualified specialty doctors in Renal and General Internal Medicine with a commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and medical education. Experience in research & development and a willingness to pursue additional Service Performance Appraisal (SPA) time for service improvement initiatives are encouraged.
