A Day In The Life
In the role of Commercial Specialist, you don’t just support leadership—you fuel the engine behind every commercial win. You’ll drive execution across all projects and initiatives, powering sales growth and pushing brands to dominate both within the bottling system and out at retail. Own the action by maintaining a sharp, always‑on master calendar for regional commercial initiatives. Stay locked in with internal experts and external partners, keeping every moving piece aligned, on track, and firing at full speed. You’ll spot roadblocks before they hit, break down critical risks, and turn challenges into strategic plays—delivering clear, timely insights on project timelines, key deliverables, and business impact. Bottom line: you keep the momentum unstoppable and the results undeniable.
The Impact You'll Make
- Customize and implement programs and go‑to‑market plans for brands within the specific bottler region.
- Create presentations to identify trends, customer needs, business opportunities, performance, issues and opportunities for management.
- Track the use of apparel, dealer loaders, point of sale materials, coolers and other equipment to maximize ROI and monitor spend of the marketing budget.
- Implement any incentives agreed with bottler network and collaborate with management in creating programs for brand and retail success locally.
- Support and generate sales updates as needed for all bottler contacts and leadership on their respective region, including analysis of performance and metrics.
- Communicate customer activity and ensure placement in the bottler’s "Picture of Success" and commercial standards.
- Control POS inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling against electronic records and preserving inventory.
- Spend time in local markets to ensure that brand execution is occurring at desired levels and to maintain a current knowledge of competitive activity and pricing.
Who You Are
- Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
- Experience of 3‑5 years in retail or distributor sales.
- Experience of 3‑5 years in project management.
- Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with forecasting, Nielsen/NRI, POS and inventory reports.
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or beverage industry experience a plus; fluent English preferred.
