Process Optimization Engineer – Molycop Technologies

Are you interested in combining mining, technology, data analysis, and field work in a highly technical and international environment?

At Molycop Technologies, we are looking for a Process Optimization Engineer to join our South America regional team, participating in projects related to instrumentation, process control, automation, and mining plant optimization.

This role has a strong technical-consultative focus and involves constant interaction with clients, data analysis, troubleshooting, and participation in projects across LATAM.

What will you do in this role?

- Provide technical support and participate in process optimization initiatives at mining plants.
- Monitor and analyze operational data through technology platforms and IIoT solutions.
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and online analyzers.
- Conduct technical visits to clients and mining operations in Chile and other LATAM countries.
- Prepare technical reports, analyses, and improvement proposals.
- Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with regional teams and headquarters.

We are looking for candidates with:

- Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Process Control, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in mining,



metallurgical processes, or industrial environments.
- Advanced English skills (spoken and written).
- Interest in technology, automation, data analysis, and instrumentation.
- Availability for national and international travel.
- Health conditions compatible with working at high altitude.

It will be considered a plus if you have:

- Experience in concentrator plants or mineral processing.
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, or process control.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting or commissioning.
- Experience with data analysis tools.
