About the Role

Reporting to the Manager P&R; of Escondida, the Specialist Finance Planning & Reporting supports the Finance function by continuously improving its effectiveness through delivery of data‑driven solutions to enhance business operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with operations to collect and process all inputs for the 2‑Year Budget, quarterly forecasts, and month‑end actuals, focusing on driving performance toward benchmarks.
- Analyze output of these processes to identify variability and improvement opportunities.
- Use models, systems and tools to ensure an optimal approach in delivering business requests that drive process efficiency and standardization.
- Collaborate with finance business partners to ensure a robust plan for delivering functional plans, with a strong focus on performance benchmarks.
- Present ideas, results and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Deliver comprehensive data analysis to support value identification for assets.
- Work collaboratively to deliver process‑improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and standardization, optimizing planning with the Manager of P&R; and its peers.
- Provide critical and accurate financial analysis to support decisions on tactical and strategic business challenges.

About You





- Professional degree in commercial engineering (business administration) or civil industrial engineering.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and driving change initiatives.
- Excellent analytical capacity, able to analyze complex business processes, identify improvement opportunities and recommend solution options.
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate a highly complex, global and dynamic organization that requires indirect influence.
- Facility to quickly learn and adopt new systems and processes.
- Intermediate level or above in English.
- Advanced level of Excel proficiency.
- Desirable knowledge of SAP and information systems.
