About the Role
Drive business development across LATAM, identifying lucrative opportunities in the steel sector, with focus on HRC, CRC, GI, PPGI etc.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and technical consultation through contract negotiation, closing, and long-term account management.
Analyze LATAM market dynamics, import regulations, competitor positioning, and regional demand patterns to develop localized sales strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance) to navigate LATAM’s customs processes and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with existing clients while aggressively expanding market share to exceed ambitious sales targets.
Represent the company at major LATAM trade events (e.g.,
Exponor, Expomin) and industry associations to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
English can be used as working language.
3+ years of steel international trading experience, with proven track record in steel import/export operations.
Exceptional negotiation abilities, strong commercial acumen, and established network within LATAM steel industry.
Self-starter with resilience to work independently; comfortable with frequent travel and occasional regional trips.
