About the role

The Specialist - Logistics is responsible for managing and overseeing the logistics operations of the entire Orebody Intelligence business unit in the Latin America region. This role involves coordinating the efficient movement of goods, ensuring compliance with national and international trade regulations, and optimizing logistics processes to achieve operational goals. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for key business controlling functions,



providing financial and strategic support for decision-making.

What you will be doing

Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHE&S;)
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and contractors
- Promote and maintain a strong focus on safety, health, environmental, and security standards.
- Ensures compliance with Orica’s SHandE and Procurement policy and governance including in utilising preferred suppliers list.

Logistics Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the regional supply chain.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes to prevent shortages.
- Responsible for stock orders and stock management, supported by Lead Operations team.
- Accountable for healthy utilization and stock management for supporting customers and distributors.
