across Canada, the U.S., and South America.

Purpose

The Surface Mining Autonomous Engineer provides technical engineering expertise and consulting support for automation and autonomous systems in surface mining operations. The Surface Mining Automation & Autonomous Systems Engineer will support clients through technology assessments, frontend studies, system definition, and project execution related to autonomous and automation-enabled mining environments.- This role combines hands-on surface mining experience with automation, Tele remote, controls, and digital systems understanding, supporting Robust, Reliable, Secure, fit-for-purpose solutions that improve safety, reliability, productivity, and operational readiness of surface mining assets.

This is a full‑time hybrid position based at a Worley office location in Canada or the U.S.
