**Responsibilities**
- Perform pipe stress analysis (static and dynamic) for critical piping systems in accordance with ASME piping codes, standards, and industry practices.
- Identify different stress packages through review of P&IDs; / Line Designation tables.
- Provide pipe loading information to other disciplines as required. Resolve high pipe loads on equipment nozzles & high secondary stresses in piping.
- Selection of spring hangers, snubbers, struts for pipe supports.
- Preparation and interpretation/review of stress calculations of relatively complex nature.
- Locate and identify pipe supports on isometrics, review piping isometrics against piping material specifications.
- Prepare complete documentation of the stress analysis and support design.
- Participates in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data from suppliers.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and the construction team to optimize pipe routing and support schemes.
- Knowledge to ensure compliance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and other international design codes (API, ASTM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize piping designs for cost, efficiency, and safety.
