About the Role
We are seeking a substantive specialty doctor in Renal and General Internal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team at University Hospital Monklands in Lanarkshire.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient renal services, including procedures, dialysis, and renal virtual ward activity.
Offer general medical resident on-call support.
Participate in continuing medical education, governance, and departmental meetings.
Collaborate on quality improvement, patient safety, medical education, research & development, and potential appraisal duties.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should be qualified specialty doctors in Renal and General Internal Medicine with a commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and medical education.
Experience in research & development and a willingness to pursue additional Service Performance Appraisal (SPA) time for service improvement initiatives are encouraged.
