We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineer who operates with a high level of autonomy and technical leadership to design, build, and operate scalable, secure AWS environments.
This role is adecuado for experienced engineers who not only have deep hands-on AWS expertise, but can also independently drive architecture decisions, lead implementations end-to-end, and proactively identify improvements across cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation.
You will partner with DevOps, Security, and Application teams while serving as a key technical owner for cloud platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing optimization of AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)
Own AWS networking architecture and implementation, including
VPC design, subnet strategy, and routing
Client VPN and site-to-site VPN
Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways
Security Groups and Network ACLs
VPC Peering, Transit Gateway,
and PrivateLink
Architect and support hybrid and multi-account AWS environments at scale
Independently diagnose and resolve complex networking issues, including VPN, Direct Connect, and routing challenges
Drive CI/CD and infrastructure automation initiatives in collaboration with DevOps teams
Proactively monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, scalability, and availability
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures
Ensure adherence to AWS security best practices and compliance standards
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and architectural diagrams
Required Skills & Experience
5–8+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, including:
EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route 53
S3, RDS, CloudWatch
Advanced networking knowledge, including:
TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S
CIDR design, subnetting, and routing strategies
Firewalls, load balancing, and secure network design
Proven experience designing and managing Infrastructure as Code solutions
Strong Linux systems knowledge
Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues
Experience operating in multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organizations, cross-account access)
Education (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field from an accredited university in LATAM (e.g., Argentina, Chile, México, or equivalent)
