OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative in our Santiago, Chile location. In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales and promoting the Garmin Chile brand through building relationships with assigned accounts by outbound sales calls, order processing and customer service.Essential FunctionsEstablish, develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key business partners and retailersPartner with sales leaders in the development and execution of strategies designed to increase market share and profit with existing accountsNegotiate and execute sales agreementsAnalyze, assess and develop suggestions to leadership to set or adjust margin pricingMaintain and leverage a high level of product knowledge across all assigned product markets to create sales strategies attractive to potential dealersRecommend additional products and merchandise to retailers to expand the Garmin Chile brand presenceEducate and inform retailers of new products, training resources, and sales promotions to drive sales growthUse both the Dealer Resource Center and Oracle tools to log activities and drive efficiencies both internally and with retail partnersAnswer and handle customer phone calls and emails to ensure customer requests are processed both timely and accuratelyAccurately enter orders into Oracle, verifying that customer purchase orders match Oracle orders and communicate any variances to customerInform customer of unit prices, shipping date, inventory availability, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed; recommend replacement products or additional items as necessaryProcess and follow up with customer requests, inquiries and complaints in a timely mannerCommunicate internally with Order Analysts, Production, Finance,



Sales, Shipping, Warehouse and any other personnel needed to assist in the processing of the customer orders and inquiriesFollow up on miss‑shipped orders and damaged orders and complete shipping discrepancy formIssue Return Material Authorizations and credit memo’s when applicableBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience substantially similar to the essential functions of this job descriptionDemonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals, targets and other performance metricsMust be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with othersAbility to operate independently with little to no oversightMust be self‑motivated and energeticDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsMust possess the ability to prioritize, organize and multi‑task in a versátil, fast paced and challenging environmentMust be detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skillsMust demonstrate proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteMust possess a willingness and ability to travel when neededDesired QualificationsBachelor's Degree2+ years of Garmin experienceKnowledge and hands‑on experience with retailsPossess a demonstrated in‑depth knowledge of Garmin’s product lineFull knowledgeable in all aspects of order entry system with a thorough understanding of Oracle managementSales experience in a business‑to‑business environmentGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
