Overview

InterSystems Chile is growing to support customers in Chile and LATAM. We are hiring Technical Specialists based in Santiago, with willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, to develop and deliver software solutions that meet project specifications.

InterSystems has been active in Chile since 2007, with our TrakCareHIS solution aimed at improving patient care, efficiency, and cost reduction by collecting, processing, and storing clinical and administrative data.

Responsibilities

- Liaise with clients or business analysts regarding ongoing enhancement requests
- Liaise with clients or business analysts on requests for new or modified reports
- Advise and assist Project Managers during implementation
- Manage the resolution of outstanding acceptance issues before and after go-live
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Support and test InterSystems-related utilities (patching tools, version control tools, data migration tools, print services)
- Produce technical documentation (reference materials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge-base articles, specifications)
- Participate in on-site technical implementations
- Participate in the 24-hour extended support period

Qualifications

- 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, PHP, or Python
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, data analysis, and database methodologies
- Well-versed in Internet / Intranet concepts
- Experience in the integration of health information systems; HL7 / FHIR framework experience is desirable
- Ability to design and write technical documents




- Proven ability to lead and deliver results within specific time frames
- Experienced in client-focused interaction
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to conduct training and develop training materials
- Ability to work within a multicultural team and independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel and work outside of office hours
- Passion for learning new technologies and applications

Education & Training

- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with InterSystems technology and healthcare systems is highly desirable
