Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ICT Specialist – SAM

Role Overview

Primary focus on implementing and rolling‑out SAP PLM and QMS applications across Puratos subsidiaries in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. The specialist drives digital transformation within R&D; and Quality domains, coaching and supporting process improvements across the group.

Responsibilities

1. Roll‑out of HQ chosen applications in subsidiaries

- Analyze existing processes
- Build partnership with local management and manage organizational impact
- Propose and facilitate organizational changes
- Act as template keeper and contribute to template development
- Assist Key Users with data migration, training, documentation and acceptance testing
- Implement application localizations and necessary reporting
- Ensure authorizations and data protection
- Keep project managers informed of progress and issues
- Support post go‑live transition

- Support from a functional point of view for applications installed by HQ within sub‑domain

- Perform SAP 3rd line support when needed in collaboration with the Global Support Team
- Write functional specifications for approved Change Requests

- Optimize and enhance the system used in subsidiaries

- Identify improvement and best‑practice areas
- Build key user communities for knowledge sharing and adoption




- Organize post‑implementation reviews and training sessions
- Implement additional functionalities (optimization and retrofitting)

Qualifications

- In‑depth knowledge of SAP PLM and QM domain, preferably on SAP S/4
- Experience in product lifecycle management in process industries (recipe‑based production, regulatory/product safety, traceability)
- Knowledge of integration between SAP and external applications and between SAP modules (e.g., MM, PE, WM)
- Interest in non‑SAP and SAP satellite applications (Odoo ERP, RPA, etc.) in Quality and PLM domain
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, LIMS, Automation (RPA, Agentic AI) is a plus
- Several years of proven project life‑cycle experience
- Application development experience is a plus
- Team spirit, initiative, and strong communication and training skills
- Adaptable, stress‑resistant, with a broad view and synthesis spirit
- Willingness to travel (~10%)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset
- 4+ years of ICT experience
