We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Contract Manager to support the full lifecycle of contracts associated with the construction and delivery of a mission‑critical Data Center project. This role is ideal for a contracting professional with experience in real estate, industrial, or infrastructure projects, who is ready to contribute to a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
The Contract Manager will work closely with procurement, construction, legal, finance, and project controls teams to ensure contractual compliance, optimal performance, and alignment with project objectives. This position plays an essential role in safeguarding commercial interests, mitigating risks, managing contractor interfaces, and maintaining robust contract governance throughout the project.
Activities might include:
- Manage day‑to‑day contract administration, including scope tracking, deliverables, variations, invoicing, and claims.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations (schedule, cost, quality,
and safety).
- Identify and elevate potential risks, disputes, or non‑compliance issues in a timely manner.
- Serve as a key interface between Construction Management, Project Controls, Legal, Finance, and external contractors.
- Support commercial and technical discussions related to change management, risk allocation, and contract interpretation.
- Collaborate with engineering and commissioning teams to ensure contract alignment with project milestones and handover requirements.
- Maintain accurate and audit‑ready records for all contract actions, approvals, and communications.
- Prepare contract status reports, risk summaries, and performance dashboards for project leadership.
- Support continuous improvement of contract management processes and tools.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in contract management, commercial management, or procurement for construction, real estate, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial principles, and risk management.
- Experience supporting contracts for CAPEX projects (civil works, MEP, equipment supply, or installation).
- Solid negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documentation.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with data centers, hyperscale environments, industrial facilities, or mission‑critical projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC, EPC, Design‑Build, or Lump‑Sum contracting models.
- Familiarity with contract management systems, ERP platforms, or e‑procurement tools.
- Courses or certifications in Contract Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Project Management (e.g., PMI, CIPS).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
