Environmental and Land Project Manager / Permitting Project ManagerDepartment: Chile ConsultancyEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Santiago, ChileDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Environmental and Land Project Manager / Permitting Project Manager to support large‑scale, mission‑critical data center developments across Santiago and other strategic locations in Latin America. This role will lead environmental permitting, land development strategy, and site due diligence activities throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, mitigation of project risks, and timely permit acquisition to support hyperscale data center construction projects. The position requires strong coordination with cross‑functional teams, regulatory agencies, consultants, and external stakeholders in a fast‑paced, high‑impact construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage environmental permitting and land development activities for large‑scale data center projectsOversee Site Due Diligence (SDD) processes from kickoff through final deliverablesDevelop and manage permitting strategies, timelines, and execution plans aligned with construction schedulesCoordinate with consultants, contractors, legal teams, and regulatory agencies to mitigate project risksReview environmental constraints including wetlands, biological impacts, archaeological findings,



and land restrictionsDevelop mitigation and remediation strategies for identified environmental risksSupport site preparation, grading feasibility, erosion control, and habitat remediation activitiesManage stormwater, wastewater, and environmental compliance permitting processesEnsure environmental regulations, permit conditions, and compliance requirements are properly documented and implementedRepresent the project team in meetings and negotiations with AHJs, stakeholders, and public entitiesProvide regular status updates, risk assessments, and permitting progress reports to leadership teamsCoordinate recurring project meetings focused on permitting, environmental compliance, and risk mitigationSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEnvironmental permitting & regulatory complianceSite due diligence (SDD) and land developmentEnvironmental impact assessments & risk mitigationGreenfield and brownfield site evaluationsStormwater, wastewater, and erosion control permittingEnvironmental compliance and permit management Stakeholder, contractor, and regulatory coordinationMission‑critical / data center construction experienceLarge‑scale construction project managementStrong communication, reporting, and organizational skillsRisk assessment and mitigation planningCross‑functional collaboration with design, legal, and construction teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
