Job Description
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Position Summary
Established support individual contributor that executes tasks that are typically routine, with some deviation from standard practice. Accomplishes duties related to assigned bids & tenders contracts and service agreements, from providing administrative and organizational support, through assisting with the implementation of contract administration processes and contract management systems. Contributes to the fulfilment of bids & tender contracted terms and ensures the recording and documentation of all contract related data.
Be responsible for managing tender and contract activities to meet targets and fulfill market demands, ensuring the timely submission of bids, and maintaining accurate bid records. Works closely with the sales and marketing organization to ensure smooth operations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains a functional knowledge of the organization various product bids & tender contracts and service agreements to promote customer awareness and understanding of applicable product features, business practices, and associated contractual implications.
- Coordinates efficient and effective customer communications and contract management by ensuring all bids & tender contract related information is entered into the organization contract management system.
- Helps review current contract administration and management processes and contributes to the implementation of new policies and process optimizations.
- Initiates basic pre-sale and post-signature contract support duties including fulfilling due diligence requests, processing modifications, close-out tasks, communicating with contracted parties and answering inquiries.
- Ensures the compliance and fulfillment of bids & tender contracted terms by communicating with the business unit team members and relevant cross-functional personnel.

- Proficient office administration contributes to the smooth operation of daily activities, optimizing efficiency and resource management.
- Understanding regulatory compliance is critical for ensuring that all operations adhere to legal standards and industry regulations.
- Implementing effective sales enablement activities supporting the sales team with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
- Providing robust sales support enhances the team's ability to close deals and build strong customer relationships.
- Effective tender management involves coordinating and preparing bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with client requirements.
- Being detail attentive allows for the identification of potential issues early, leading to improved quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong collaboration and detail oriented proactivity to execute on deliverables of individual and team goals.
